FarmConnect has recently solidified its position in the global agtech market by applying for bee activity analysis patents in 40 countries around the world. 

In particular, by registering patents in Korea, Japan, and Eurasia (8 countries), it has revealed that its innovative technology for bee activity analysis in smart farms is recognized internationally.

Recently, the role of bees has become very important in the global agricultural market, and the global economic value related to pollination is estimated to be a market of 235 billion to 577 billion dollars.

In smart farms, bees play the role of pollination, and if their pollination work is not done, fruits cannot be produced normally. 

However, due to the decrease in activity of bees caused by abnormal climate and the lack of smart farm management technology, the problem of bees not properly pollinating has occurred in farms around the world, and an emergency has been declared.

In this situation, FarmConnect is developing an AI-based ‘digital bee activity analysis solution, Connect Bee’ and distributing it to farms nationwide. 

By applying the core technology of the newly registered patent, bee activity trajectory tracking and pollen detection technology, bee activity is monitored in real time and pollen information that is difficult for humans to identify is detected and analyzed.

This technology is making a significant contribution to maximizing agricultural productivity and increasing crop yields. 

Farmers can analyze the effectiveness of bee work in real time and establish optimal harvesting strategies.

FarmConnect has applied for patents in 40 countries including China, the United States, the EU (27 countries), and Canada, which are major smart farm countries, and plans to secure greater competitiveness in the global market by securing patents worldwide in the future.

Meanwhile, FarmConnect plans to participate in the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2025 held in Las Vegas, USA in 2025 to introduce its ‘Connect Bee’ technology to the world.
