Used by over 300 farms nationwide... 30% increase in farm productivity

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (Minister Hwang-geun Jeong) selected FarmConnect Co., Ltd. (CEO Mu-hyun Kim) as the 49th A-Ventures company of the month, which is being promoted to discover and promote excellent venture start-ups in the agricultural and food sector.

'FarmConnect' analyzes environmental and growth information collected in real time from 1,800 farms nationwide and provides information on flowering time, yield, It is a budding company (startup) in the agricultural technology (Agtech) field that provides future growth prediction information, including the occurrence of failures.

The artificial intelligence (AI)-based cultivation analysis information developed by ‘FarmConnect’ is being used by about 300 farms in 7 cities and counties across the country, including Buyeo and Cheongyang, and the productivity of farms using this service has increased by about 30%.

In addition, we developed a ‘honey bee analysis management system’ that enables real-time analysis of the amount of honey bees essential for greenhouse cultivation, pollen on their legs, activity problems, etc. in real time based on artificial intelligence (AI). 

This technology is attracting attention as a cutting-edge technology because it can recognize and resolve production decreases due to poor flowering period correction work in advance, and local application tests for export to the Netherlands, Spain, and Canada are being discussed.

‘FarmConnect’ CEO Mu-hyun Kim said, “Based on the know-how in precise analysis of agricultural data accumulated over four years, we plan to distribute a system in collaboration with greenhouse complex controller companies in June, and are expanding into an open platform that can be used by all controller companies in the future. “He said, “In the future, we will advance greenhouse environment prediction technology and establish ourselves as an agricultural technology company that contributes to the development of the global agricultural market.”
